Mission Statement

The  ACM-W Ankara Professional Chapter mission is to promote women’s education and careers in the field of computing while also urging the European professional and scholarly community to actively support and facilitate the participation and professional growth of women in computing. This aligns with the ACM-W Europe‘s mission to globally champion, celebrate, and endorse women’s complete involvement in all aspects of the computing industry. To achieve this, they offer a diverse array of programs and services to ACM members and collaborate with the broader community to enhance the impact of women in technology.

Vision

Following the mission of ACM-W Europe, the vision of ACM-W Ankara is a landscape where women at all levels are supported and inspired to pursue their dreams and ambitions to find fulfillment in the computing field.

Goals

• Organize events for women in computing in Turkey
• Act as the umbrella organization for ACM-W Student Chapters in Turkey
• Motivate and mentor establishment of ACM-W Chapters in Turkey

• Organize informative events for K12 level about computing as a career
